Cable thermocouples

Thermocouples of this series are primarily used for temperature measurement in liquid and gaseous media. However, there is a broad palette of configuration and construction options that can be adapted to specific applications. Due to their construction, these TC may be used in temperature ranges between -200°C and +700°C.

Temperature sensors of this series are made in various variants, and are structurally adapted to work in various conditions. Cable sensors are often used by machine and device manufacturers, including in ovens and in heating, ventilation and cooling devices. Many standard designs are available, but we regularly develop new ones according to customer specifications.

Due to the design and materials used to build the sensors, they can be divided into the following versions:

  • Push-in thermocouples
  • Surface thermocouples
  • Screw-in thermocouples
  • Termocouples with magnet holder
  • Other executions are possible, e.g. watertight, acid-resistant

Cable insulation is made of various materials, they are available both from PVC, Silicone, FEP, PUR, PTFE and fiberglass from the outside protected by a metal braid. The cable can be terminated with various connectors such as screw connectors, round DIN connectors, banana plugs, Molex plugs or ferrules. As a measuring element we use a K-type thermocouple, J-type, L-type, T-type or U-type.

In the place where the cable is led out of a metal tubes, the probes can be equipped with an additional heat shrink tube (protection against moisture) and / or a spring (protection against cable break).
