Ex i, R3 / T3

The sensors of the R3/T3 series are constructed with a weld-in protection tube whereby the zone seperation has to be realised by the customer. This is done by welding the protection tube professionaly in the process. To ensure a faster response time, if required, these sensors are also available with a tip which has a tapering shape.

The resistance thermometers (R1) are produced with all the conventional resistance elements like Pt100, Pt500 and Pt1000. The thermocouples (T1) are produced with thermo-elements type T, J, K, E and N.

The protection tubes serve to protect the gauge slides from chemical and physical attacks. Additionally, the selection of appropriate protection tubes increases the required mechanical stability.  

Depending on the application, we can supply sensors made out of all kinds of materials (for example 1.4571, 1.4541, 1.4404, 2.4816, Hastelloy) and dimensions (outside diameter, wall thickness, installation length and more).
